Printer manual for IBT-users
The printer queue, \\ibtsrv6\reprox1, which is used when transferring manuscripts for printing directly to the Xerox 6180 facility of 'Reprocentret', can be used by all NT-users with access to the domain ibt.ku.dk
To make optimal use of the facility, the Xerox's own printer driver must be used.
Printer and printer driver are installed by adding a new printer (Start/Printers and Faxes/Add a Printer):
- Click on Next
- Click on Network Printer
- Click on Next
- Choose the second option
- Insert: \\ibtsrv6\reprox1
- Click on Next
- Follow the guide from here
Via the printer driver, the printing assignment's characteristics may be indicated and additional information may be added via a so-called 'Job Ticket'.
We recommend that anyone who send a manuscript for printing at 'Reprocentret' contacts us by phone on +45 35 32 35 73 or via e-mail repro@samf.ku.dk before sending the material.
Please notice that as a principal rule, the print queue is open Monday-Friday 9.00-15.00.
Material which is sent to the queue outside of opening hours will not be lost, but is forwarded when the print queue opens again.
