Abstract

BA -revision at the Department of Psychology

In the fall 2020 the bachelor education at the Department of Psychology had to be revised. The current clinical program have problems such as the education being too expensive with too many external teachers, no difference in goal objectives between clinical courses on BA and KA level, and overlapping topics between two primary courses (clinical psychology and psychiatry). A working group was set to find solutions to these problems and produce a revision of the clinical BA program, which had to be approved by the leadership and Study board. Different theories from the THLE program were implemented in this work, trying to settle on a revision, which both incorporates goals from the leadership concerning e.g. economy, as well as more pedagogical goals such as differentiating taxonomies, learning objectives and activation of the students both during and between teaching, as well as during the exam
