Students as Facilitators: Learning in Groups

Abstract
The aim of this project is to test a group-work method where students lead class room group activities. The project described in this paper is based on the activity conducted in November 2016 for the Disaster Recovery and Development Planning course on the Master of Disaster Management at the University of Copenhagen. This was designed in order to change the monotonous teacher-led class room group activities. The idea over-all was well received and changes were suggested for improvement. These changes will be implemented in the fall of 2017.
