Abstract

Feasibility and Student Acceptability of using Peer feedback in Collective Supervision

Collective supervision has during the last decade been included in academic curriculums sometimes without the necessary discussions among teachers about the practical implementation of these methods in class. This study examines the feasibility and student acceptability of a collective supervision model - 'Den varme stol' (Wichmann-Hansen, Jensen, & O´Toole, 2020) - among BA-students in Developmental Psychology. The model includes an online between-classes activity of peer-feedback in small groups and in-class activities consisting of interviews with feedback-givers focusing on retrieving generic knowledge on key academic written disciplines in accordance with the learning outcomes of the course. Students were asked to participate in a short survey before and after the supervision.
