Empowering students’ mental health
This exploratory study based on ten interviews with students in the department of social anthropology aim to show venues on how to embrace mental health as a part of university life. The study identifies three areas to work with in addition to the formal administrative and study counselling path that is indispensable. 1) Affected students’ self-understanding and (self-imposed) experience of hardship, 2) Fellow students’ understanding and respect, 3) Teachers’ awareness and responsibility
