Feedback is essential for learning and by using peer feedback students learning potential increase. Peer feedback stimulates active learning, peer explanations, more perspectives on a given topic and working with the criterias of feedback gives the student a better understanding of the learning goal.
At the same time, peer feedback is a way to add more feedback to all students especially in large classes.
